Introduction of the Nippon Meirinkai.

It is a group that was established in April 1‚X‚W‚T.The members practice Araki Mujinsai Ryu Iaido and Toyoda Ryu Kenshibudo.Its main dojo is in Himeji, Japan and there are several dojos in Kakogawa, Yumesaki, Ohara and Aida in Okayama Pref.It is registered as a group of the international Assoiation in Himeji City and in Hyogo Prefecture. The members try to improve international Cultural exchanges and understanding.There are about 130 members in Japan and about 50 members in the U.S.A.

The Goals of Meirinkai.

 

E Strengthening mind and body and developing ones personality.
E Cultivating cluture in each community by introducing@Iaido and Kenshibudo.

E Demonstrations for other groups and dedicating ceremonies to Ise Shrine and Sumiyoshi Shrine in Osaka.

E Araki Mujinsai Ryu Iaido belongs to the All Japan Iaido Federation.@Araki Ryu participates in the all Japan convention and competitions every year. Araki Ryu students also test for A.J.I.F. Dan certifications as well as recieving Araki Mujinsai Ryu certifications..

    The 17th. Seito Soke of Araki Mujinsai Ryu Iaido
     
    He started Iaido and Kenshibu training at the age of 11 years under the 1st Soke. He also learned Kendo at junior high school and high school.He got Shodan in Kendo. At the age of 22, he got Shihan rank in Kenshibudo and 5th dan in Iaido at 28.He started teaching iai but he was transfered to the branch office which made him stop teaching iaido. He has been a member of the Meirin committee.He succeeded to the 2nd Soke in 2009.

    The 16th. Seito Soke of Araki Mujinsai Ryu Iaido
     
    He started Iaido and Kenshibu training at the young age of 10 years.He tries to encourage the spread of Iaido and has visited the USA for 20 years to give seminars and tests.He has a deep profound knowledge of not only Iaido and Kenshibudo but also many fields. All of his students much admire his wide range of activities.He has compiled the book "Meirin Shishu" which is a translation of Chinese poems.He passed away on 19th July,2010.
